Lismore Masters Games
Sept 22-24
2023

Since its inception in 1999, the Lismore Workers Masters Games has become a thriving biennial event that draws in sports enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to Lismore for some healthy competition and enjoyment. As the sports hub of the region, Lismore always puts on a strong and competitive Masters Games.

Masters Games are popular multi-sport events that provide an opportunity for mature age sportspeople to engage in their favourite sports and compete with their peers. The camaraderie, fun, and competitive aspects of these events attract participants from different walks of life. Typically, competitors are women aged 30 and above and men aged 35 and above, though this age range may vary.

Lismore City Council has been the driving force behind all eleven Masters Games held so far, and the upcoming event will mark the twelfth edition. Each Games has had a dedicated organising committee that has worked tirelessly to raise the event's profile and reputation to the high standard it enjoys today. The Games have a significant economic and social impact on Lismore, generating visitor numbers and providing benefits to participating sports associations.

The Lismore Masters Games feature a diverse range of sports and activities, including baseball, cricket, fitness challenge, football, 5-a-side, golf, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, OZTAG and softball.

But the Games are not just about the sports; they also offer a fantastic social program that has become a hallmark of the Lismore Masters Games. Competitors, supporters, and officials are kept entertained both on and off the field, with live bands and entertainment.

So come and join us for a weekend of action and fun!
