The Nimbin Blues and Roots Festival swings back into Nimbin village for another BIG weekend of live music and entertainment. Spread over venues throughout the village of Nimbin over 3 full days. Some of the acts include:

Maverick song man Neil Murray was a founding member of the pioneering Warumpi Band, which in the 1980’s penetrated mainstream Australia with the iconic anthems My Island Home and Blackfella Whitefella

High-energy duo Hat Fitz and Cara are among Australia’s most talented roots music artists. While the singer/songwriters are both multi-instrumentalists, it's Fitzy's weathered vocals and soaring blues-soaked guitar combined with Cara's pounding drums and soulful voice that show them at the peak of their creative power.

Sky Eater is the sound born of femme musical warrior Chelsea Skyeater & her multi-instrumental artillery (Keys, Uke, Sax, Vocals, Clarinet, Melodica), a loop station, and a lifetime love of music with influences that range from Bob Marley to Bjork. Joined by the SUBlime sounds of TK on Bass, Guitar and Riddims, they bring you all that is Mermaid Trip-Hop Dub.
