BOTANIC GARDENS DAY

‘MORE THAN A GARDEN…PROTECTING OUR PLANTS AND LANDSCAPES’.

Botanic Gardens Day is an annual day of celebration to highlight the role of plants in our lives and the important work botanic gardens and arboreta undertake every day to conserve them for future generations.

Native plant nursery is open from 9.30am - 12pm with great advice and sales of healthy local rainforest plants.

Guided walks, cake and coffee stall, card and book sales. Educational displays. Childrens activities. Self-guided walks

GUIDED WALKS: Bookings essential by emailing membership@friendslrbg.com.au (Please give a contact number and say which walk and time you’d like). EACH WALK TAKES ONE HOUR (NB Some walk times overlap) Numbers limited, $5 per person, children free.

• 1pm  ENCOUNTERS 2020 GARDEN (Plants collected by Banks 1770)

  Meet at Visitor’s Centre 10 mins before walk please. Wear sturdy shoes and hat.
