The final event of Richmond Riverfest 2025, a month-long celebration of the rivers, cultures, and communities of the Northern Rivers.
Over four incredible weeks, Riverfest has brought together Custodians, community groups, conservation organisations, artists, and educators to honour Mamaang Balun – the Richmond River through storytelling, cultural practice, science, and shared action.
Come together by the banks of Mamaang to celebrate the life force of the river that connects us all. Expect a vibrant day of live music, information stalls, weaving, children’s activities, dancing and storytelling and community connection — a powerful reminder of what it means to protect and care for Country and Wate.
RiverTime Lismore will close out Richmond RiverFest 2025 with a full day of culture, music, art and community spirit. Highlights include:
Welcome to Country, Nini Nahri-gali Dance Group, A solar-powered RiverStage hosted by Mitch King, with sets from Maddy King, Uncle Billy and Luke Vasella, Dance workshops, weaving by the river, and kids’ clay and art activities, The Elders Tent – a space for stories and cultural sharing and River health information stalls, plus local food and coffee.
