Colleen Coy (B.Sc.–Dance, University of Wisconsin, USA) is a dancer, choreographer, and Screendance artist. Colleen was trained in the Russian Vaganova method of ballet and has worked as a professional dancer with companies in the USA. She teaches ballet and contemporary dance, and also Pilates and yoga for which she holds advanced certifications.
Colleen has a strong interest in improvisation, Contact Improvisation, Screendance, diverse cultures, nature, and meditation. After 13 years running her own dance and wellness studio in Timor-Leste, Colleen now resides in the Northern Rivers of NSW where recent projects have included regional community dance workshops, dance teaching and performance, and the creation of a body of Screendance work.
