Jeanti St Clair

Jeanti St Clair (she/her/hers) tells stories through audio, both as documentaries and audio walks. She lives in the beautiful Northern Rivers and is a lecturer at Southern Cross University where she teaches media and journalism. In April and May this year, Jeanti was a Plein Air artist-in-residence at the Lismore Quadrangle with Flood Stories, an installation and suite of 10 audio walks which reflected on Lismore’s experience of, and recovery from, the 2017 flood.

For the 2021 Shine Festival, Jeanti has transformed the 10 flood stories into a sonically immersive audio journey around Lismore’s CBD.

Jeanti is also a PhD candidate at the University of Wollongong where she researches sound design for audio walks, and is also an associate producer with audio walk app, Soundtrails, which houses the Nimbin walk she produced about the Aquarius Festival and its impact on the village.
