Just a short drive from Lismore, Byron Bay or Nimbin, a day trip to the The Channon Craft Market is worth your while. With over 250 market stalls showcasing art, craft, children’s amusements and activities, fresh produce and therapeutic goods. Enjoy a refreshing drink or bite to eat beneath the shade or in the Chai Tent as a large number of buskers and local bands contribute to the vibrant atmosphere. Along with merry-go-rounds and jumping castles, the Channon Market also features story telling and regular puppeteer and craft workshops, a spectacle in themselves alongside the stall holders’ colourful splendour.
