North Lismore Wetlands

Bridge St, North Lismore, New South Wales 2480

tourism@lismore.nsw.gov.au

Come together for a community tree planting day!

Bring the kids and be part of regenerating Lismore’s endangered rainforests. With the support of experienced bush regenerators and ever-caring Landcare volunteers, you will be planting over 500 native rainforest plants on the bank of Slaters Creek.

Holes will be dug, trees and mulch placed out ready- all you need to do is plant!

Please arrive for a Welcome To Country at 9:30am, and sign in upon arrival.

This site is located on Widjabul Wia-bal Country, and is cared for by the Bush Fruits LGBTIQ+ Landcare group.

This site is not readily wheelchair-accessible, but it is mostly flat and accessible via a formed pathway. The nearest public toilets are located at McKenzie Park, Pitt St, North Lismore.
