The annual NPPWC is held on the first weekend of September and is sponsored by the community of Nimbin.
There are 32 interstate and local poets, each performing 8 minutes of original poetry, battle it out over heats, semi-finals and a grand final at the Nimbin School of Arts.
Delicious food available all weekend. All prize money is raised by the Nimbin community.
This is a hugely popular Nimbin event not to be missed. Treat yourself and enjoy poetry at its best during an entire weekend of brilliant performance. Thanks to all the volunteer support the event grows in size and reputation each season.
