live + work + play

The laidback and colourful communities of the Lismore region, along with the natural beauty of the hinterland and rainforests, provide a stunning backdrop and inspiration to local and visiting artists.

Lismore Regional Gallery presents an energetic and thought-provoking program of exhibitions, music, artist talks, film, performances, workshops, kids’ events and sound art projects. The Gallery’s exciting home in the Lismore Quadrangle, alongside the Lismore Library and Conservatorium of Music, has been a huge success.

Throughout Lismore and surrounds, there are scores of galleries and artists’ studios where you can meet our wonderful artists and take home a unique and lasting memento of the Northern Rivers.

Pick up a copy of Lismore & Nimbin’s Arts + Vintage + Retro Guide at a local visitor centre or download from the maps + brochures section here.
