Doretta Balkizas returned to Australia following nearly a decade in Germany. She has performed with some of the world’s finest ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, and has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Melbourne Chamber Orchestra.
Brieley Cutting, originally from the Northern Rivers, is an award-winning pianist whose career has included concerto performances with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, a Churchill Fellowship, and the creation of an acclaimed concert series, DeClassified Music. She currently lectures in Classical Piano at the Australian Institute of Music.
